SHMerapy exists to eliminate the staffing gap in ABA therapy by connecting qualified RBTs and BCBAs with ABA agencies and families across the United States. Every child deserves consistent, high-quality ABA therapy. SHMerapy makes that possible by matching therapists to cases based on proximity, credentials, and availability — reducing wait times for families and reducing turnover for agencies.

For Families

Parents and caregivers searching for ABA therapy for their child can submit a short, free intake form describing their child's needs, location, and insurance. SHMerapy routes that request to agencies actively staffing in the family's area, who reach out directly — typically within 24 hours. Families never pay anything to use SHMerapy; the platform exists to close the gap between diagnosis and treatment as quickly as possible.
How a Match Happens
Every connection on SHMerapy starts the same way: an agency posts a case, and our matching engine compares it against every active therapist's credentials, availability, and travel time preference. Only therapists who meet every requirement — including being within both the agency's travel allowance and their own — appear as a match. The agency reviews the matches and sends an invitation. The therapist accepts or declines. Once accepted, the case is filled, the family receives care, and the agency's roster grows. This loop is what makes SHMerapy faster and more reliable than job boards, referral networks, or manual outreach.
